Pepperdine University welcomed Dan Wright (鈥06), cofounder and CEO of Armada, for the first installment of the 2026-2027 President鈥檚 Speaker Series on Tuesday, September 1, at the Surfboard Room in Payson Library. Moderated by Pepperdine University President Jim Gash (JD 鈥93), the conversation, titled 鈥淎I at the Edge: Building the Infrastructure of the Future,鈥 explored the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence landscape, the infrastructure needed to support its growth, and the responsibility of developing technology that serves the greater good.

Pepperdine University has reappointed Paul L. Caron as the Duane and Kelly Roberts Dean of Pepperdine Caruso School of Law following the completion of a five-year review. Caron, who has served as dean since 2017, will continue to lead the law school in advancing its academic mission, strategic priorities, and vision to become the preeminent global Christian law school.
